Sales Consultant
Beards Jewellery are seeking a sales consultant for their Flagship Cheltenham showroom
Specialising in high-end diamonds, fine jewellery and watches the ideal candidate will have at least 2 years in the luxury goods sector and happy to work in a client-facing role 5 days a week including Saturdays.

Reporting to the Retail Director and department manager you will be responsible for the day to day running of the store and looking after clients.
Further responsibilities:
- Maintaining relationships with client database
- Sales to new clients
- Bespoke Jewellery Appointments
- Clienteling
- Visual merchandising
- Stock control and management
- Store maintenance and organisation
Undergoing on the job training for each department/brands
Liaising with our own internal workshops on behalf of clients
Undergo a professional jewellery qualification that is internationally recognised
Key Skills Required
Ability to communicate well in English (essential) other languages a bonus
Confident and respectful communicator
Excellent Organisational skills
Computer literate ideally familiar with EPOS and stock management (EG Familiar with MS Office)
Well presented and smartly dressed
Previous experience in jewellery and/or luxury sales essential
Must be within commuting distance of GL50 1NA
Salary Commensurate with experience £20-£25k per annum

Jewellery CAD Designer (CHELTENHAM BASED)
As Jewellery CAD Designer, you are responsible for the design and production of jewellery and accessories at Beards. Your role is to manage the production of all jewellery and accessories in the workshop, designing products in line with briefs, producing CAD models for render and manufacture, and ensuring all designs are created to specification, limiting the need for a rebuild. You will oversee the production process to produce jewellery and accessories that are in line with the brand image, within the target margins and produced in a timely fashion.
You will work alongside our head goldsmith who will provide guidance for each job and the standards needed to achieve the best possible jewellery for our clients.
Role Responsibilities:
- Design of CAD for client commissions, stock manufacturing, remodelling for repairs
- Sourcing gemstones and materials for designs
- Model making designs in wax/clay as required
- Creating accurate technical drawings for bespoke pieces
- Overseeing the bespoke and manufacturing process to create CAD builds for manufacture for bespoke, special manufacturing, core and repairs
- Reducing errors and mistakes at the design stage to limit waste
- Ensuring the audit trail on EPOS and Back Office are up to date
- Assisting with range plans for core collections
- Managing own workload, ensuring work is completed on time
- Use branding tools when completing bespoke, repair or special manufacturing jobs
- Where necessary, completing the Back Office costing for bespoke and special manufacturing
- Negotiating competitive prices with suppliers
- Ensuring workshop costs are in line with KPI’s
- Maintaining the cleanliness of the workshop
- Assisting the Workshop Team with the storing of jewellery
Key Skills
2 Years experience or greater with Rhino 8, Matrix Gold or equivalent Standard (ESSENTIAL)
2 Years jewellery trade experience (ESSENTIAL)
Experience working with the best casting companies
Ability to work as part of a team
Ability to problem solve
Strong willingness to learn and develop new techniques and skills
Salary Commensurate with experience £20-£30k per annum
