No, the diamonds are kept safely with us. You are searching for a black velvet pouch with a voucher inside. Bring that to us with your map and you get your diamond from our team at the store.
If I find one what do I do?
Bring the pouch and voucher to us (Beards) and we will hand over your sparkly round brilliant cut diamond worth £1000.
How do I get clues on the day?
Volunteers from charities Maggie’s and the MND Association will be selling clues outside Beards and at strategic locations. The locations of the cluemakers will be published on the day via our social media platforms using the event hashtag #BeardsDiamondRush so be sure to follow us!
There’s always a big queue for maps and clues. Do I have to get them from outside Beards?
Maps can be purchased in-store or online now until Saturday. Maps can be collected on the day or beforehand if you wish to avoid the queues. Clues are only available on the day.
What if it rains?
The event
will still go ahead but we advise wearing the appropriate clothing and
footwear to splash about in.
I don’t have a map. Can I take part or find a diamond?
No, shame on you! Maps are how we raise money for Maggie’s and the MND Association and without one you won’t be able to claim a diamond.
How do I purchase clues? How do they work?
Clues are £5 each, available from our lovely charity volunteers on the day. The clues will be more obvious when purchased.
What time should I arrive on Sunday?
From between 10 and 10:30am

What can I do with my diamond?
It is yours to keep and do with as you wish! If you would like to have it made into a piece of jewellery please bring it in-store for a free design consultation. Our jewellery designers, goldsmith and gemstone setter are on-hand to answer all your queries.
Where can I buy maps? Can I buy one on the day?
You can buy a map on the day but we recommend buying one beforehand to avoid queues and so you can set off to find the diamonds as soon as possible. You can buy them online, in-store and from the following retailers:
